Shirley Bovshow, host of Garden Center TV with posse of opinionated garden experts and bloggers returned from the IGC Show, (Independent Garden Center Show) where they taped in Chicago.
We scoured the exhibit hall, encompassing over 210-thousand square feet searching for innovative and clever products.
That was a lot of walking!
After previewing hundreds, (maybe thousands) of garden products and plants, the Garden Center TV contributors joined me and taped a “garden trends session”to be shown on the web series soon.
Each contributor taped a special report on the products that caught their eye from their area of expertise or specialty.

Mary Ann taped a buyers guide for the beginner on how to select and buy and read seed packets.
Mary Ann’s second video guide is about purchasing heirloom plant seeds and sourcing them.
Robin Horton: Urban garden and outdoor living/style expert and publisher of the award winning blog, Urban Gardens.
Robin reports about vertical garden systems that are beautiful, practical, easy to install and water efficient.
Kylee Baumle: Indoor garden specialist, book reviewer and co-author of “Indoor Plant Decor: The Design Stylebook for Houseplants”
Kylee taped a report about the re-vitalized indoor gardening trend and presents some of her favorite plant finds from the show.
Brenda Haas: Garden social media expert, photographer and community leader at #Gardenchat on Twitter.
Brenda gave us an update on the Twitter gardening community, #Gardenchat and how we can connect with other garden lovers online.
Sheri Ann Richarson: Best selling author of numerous books including “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Year-Round Gardening” and garden expert.
Sheri taped a buyers guide on how to buy “chocolate trees” and offers tips on their care.
William Moss: Gardening educator and spokeperson, “The Garden Boss.”
I also proclaim William to have the “biggest smile in gardening”…I come a close second!
WIlliam reports on his first book, “Any Size, Anywhere Edible Gardening” for the beginner gardener.
Kate Copsey:Edible gardening expert and host of radio show,“America’s Home Grown Veggie Show.”
Kate reports on children’s gardening products that will assure them success and encourage them to grow their own food.
Andrew Beckman: Editorial Director for Timber Press.
Andrew shares the latest gardening trends and books in the pipeline for Timber Press.
